The easiest way to get simulate the three buttons in p9p devdraw, drawterm, and 9vx is to do the option-click and cmd-click. Not the best for chording, but it works. Ctrl-click is also mapped, but I always forget which one really does what compared to using a 3-button mouse. I just realized that the trackpad preferences does have an option to two-finger click assignments for either the left or right button. Still not optimal for rio. But given that that's one approach, it does mean that if someone wants to poke at the code to add full gesture support then it would be possible to simulate chording.
