sorry to keep asking,

a couple of years ago you gave me a technique for stopping part of usb and then restarting it with debug turned on (done from a usb keyboard).

i have a new compact keyboard from ebay but it is not seen by plan9, and not listed in usb/probe; though it does work with MacOS.
