I don't think so. The release version supports 21143 and 21140. If
you check the archives, someone got a PNIC-II working with a simple
modification to the PCI scan routine, since it is so compatible with a
Tulip.

Network cards based on the DEC 21114x chipset are listed as supported. I
wonder if anyone knows whether DEC21040 is known to work as well.

(I am considering getting DLINK cards plus hub - the cards use DL10030
which is DEC21040 according to a Linux howto)
