The release version supports 21143 and 21140. If you check the archives, someone got a PNIC-II working with a simple modification to the PCI scan routine, since it is so compatible with a Tulip. --upas-gtqvykplxhetavqohnngxuuezq Content-Type: message/rfc822 Content-Disposition: inline Received: from tele-punt-22.mail.demon.net ([194.217.242.7]) by cpu; Sat Jul 29 17:21:19 BST 2000 Received: from punt-2.mail.demon.net by mailstore for ngr@cotswold.demon.co.uk id 964886168:20:20457:1; Sat, 29 Jul 2000 15:56:08 GMT Received: from hearno.cyberware.co.uk ([194.74.221.2]) by punt-2.mail.demon.net id aa2103464; 29 Jul 2000 15:56 GMT Received: from cse.psu.edu (majordom@claven.cse.psu.edu [130.203.3.50]) by hearno.cyberware.co.uk (8.9.1b+Sun/8.7.2) with ESMTP id QAA19041 for ; Sat, 29 Jul 2000 16:55:16 +0100 (BST) Received: from localhost (majordom@localhost) by cse.psu.edu (8.8.8/8.8.8) with SMTP id LAA09010; Sat, 29 Jul 2000 11:55:18 -0400 (EDT) Received: by claven.cse.psu.edu (bulk_mailer v1.5); Sat, 29 Jul 2000 11:55:10 -0400 Received: (from majordom@localhost) by cse.psu.edu (8.8.8/8.8.8) id LAA08986 for 9fans-outgoing; Sat, 29 Jul 2000 11:55:05 -0400 (EDT) X-Authentication-Warning: claven.cse.psu.edu: majordom set sender to owner-9fans using -f Received: from mail.worldchat.com ([204.138.239.60]) by cse.psu.edu (8.8.8/8.8.8) with ESMTP id LAA08982 for <9fans@cse.psu.edu>; Sat, 29 Jul 2000 11:55:00 -0400 (EDT) Received: from worldchat.com (asv90-1-p39.wchat.on.ca [205.210.137.55]) by mail.worldchat.com (8.9.3/8.9.3) with ESMTP id LAA02648 for <9fans@cse.psu.edu>; Sat, 29 Jul 2000 11:50:09 -0400 Message-ID: <3982FE88.5B23691E@worldchat.com> Date: Sat, 29 Jul 2000 11:55:52 -0400 From: Milan Zimmermann X-Mailer: Mozilla 4.73 [en] (X11; U; Linux 2.2.12-20 i586) X-Accept-Language: en MIME-Version: 1.0 To: Plan 9 mailing list <9fans@cse.psu.edu> Subject: [9fans] Is DEC21040 chipset for nw cards supported in PLan 9? Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-9fans@cse.psu.edu Reply-To: 9fans@cse.psu.edu Precedence: bulk Network cards based on the DEC 21114x chipset are listed as supported. I wonder if anyone knows whether DEC21040 is known to work as well. Thanks (I am considering getting DLINK cards plus hub - the cards use DL10030 which is DEC21040 according to a Linux howto) --upas-gtqvykplxhetavqohnngxuuezq--
