It was on a Texas Instruments laptop of about 3-4 years ago vintage. The gl7543 is the Alpine I think. I had several of the manuals somewhere, but threw them away just after selling the laptop. If all you have to do is add a chip number then, I'm sorry, it might feel like it, but you're not in VGA Hell! Just somewhere nearby, where the weather is more pleasant. --upas-igjcxonymnhtgxafpeahavciek Content-Type: message/rfc822 Content-Disposition: inline Received: from tele-punt-22.mail.demon.net ([194.217.242.7]) by cpu; Tue Sep 26 19:17:49 BST 2000 Received: from punt-2.mail.demon.net by mailstore for ngr@cotswold.demon.co.uk id 969991639:20:10857:0; Tue, 26 Sep 2000 18:07:19 GMT Received: from hearno.cyberware.co.uk ([194.74.221.2]) by punt-2.mail.demon.net id aa2010818; 26 Sep 2000 18:07 GMT Received: from mail (postfix@psuvax1.cse.psu.edu [130.203.4.6]) by hearno.cyberware.co.uk (8.9.1b+Sun/8.7.2) with ESMTP id TAA02894 for ; Tue, 26 Sep 2000 19:06:22 +0100 (BST) Received: from psuvax1.cse.psu.edu (unknown [130.203.30.6]) by mail (CSE Mail Server) with ESMTP id 82E4D19A12; Tue, 26 Sep 2000 14:07:08 -0400 (EDT) Received: from mta06-svc.ntlworld.com (mta06-svc.ntlworld.com [62.253.162.46]) by mail (CSE Mail Server) with ESMTP id ACD4919A12 for <9fans@cse.psu.edu>; Tue, 26 Sep 2000 14:06:34 -0400 (EDT) Received: from freeze ([62.254.2.198]) by mta06-svc.ntlworld.com (InterMail vM.4.01.02.27 201-229-119-110) with SMTP id <20000926180626.VEAN19246.mta06-svc.ntlworld.com@freeze> for <9fans@cse.psu.edu>; Tue, 26 Sep 2000 19:06:26 +0100 Message-ID: <007d01c027e4$6a6b0840$0301a8c0@freeze> From: "Matt" To: <9fans@cse.psu.edu> References: <20000926132551.9A7E9199DE@mail> <20000926123724.A8496@gmx.net> Subject: Re: [9fans] VGA and laptops Date: Tue, 26 Sep 2000 19:05:54 +0100 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Priority: 3 X-MSMail-Priority: Normal X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook Express 5.50.4133.2400 X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V5.50.4133.2400 Sender: 9fans-admin@cse.psu.edu Errors-To: 9fans-admin@cse.psu.edu X-BeenThere: 9fans@cse.psu.edu X-Mailman-Version: 2.0beta4 Precedence: bulk Reply-To: 9fans@cse.psu.edu List-Id: Fans of the O/S Plan 9 from Bell Labs <9fans.cse.psu.edu> dont get a compaq lte 5300 :) it's got a floppy, oh yes but vga hell --upas-igjcxonymnhtgxafpeahavciek--
