Greetings,

Apparently something snoopy does in setting the card to promiscuous mode fixes the problem.  I've verified this, from a
fresh reboot I get no ping response and then as soon as I run snoopy in another shell the replies show up.
Any ideas what it might be doing so that I can add it to my termrc?
