I originally used Partition Magic to set up a FAT partition to put the install image in (as the 4th edition didn't seem to be able to look into the NTFS partition). After adding a FAT partition and the install image, I got the "panic: exception/interrupt 14" error. When I removed this partition and put the distribution on a CD I was able to go through the Entire install procedure....Unfortunately, when it boots and I try an log in as a user it now just streams the error message "wrenwrite failed: io/error". On a side note the Plan9 partition utility seemed to corrupt the partition directly behind it. I also ran into a similar error with the 3rd edition where it calculated the size wrong by 1 or something. Looks like I may have to dedicate a whole machine to make it go. Regards, Richard W.
