In the partition dump I sent this bit was informational not an error (so it
would seem from a brief google search that I did, see
http://www.ata-atapi.com/hiwchs.htm ). I do have an older dump which does
report errors when I tried to install on a partition which was to small
(included below). I suspect some error may be tracked from that info. My
skimming of that site seems to indicate that calculations of C/H/S are not
as standard as one would hope, and the safe way might be to use the bios
call (a thought from the hip based on a 5 minute skim).
