Nope, GCC would have died a well-deserved death. I was so pissed off at Sun for doing this (and the follow-on effect as all the other vendors got greedy) that I never again bought any hardware or software from them. And this did result in them not winning a $500K+ bid that they otherwise would probably have won. Now that they've come to their senses, I've just signed off to buy a pair of 4200 servers :-) --lyndon
