Thanks for pointing out that ^t^tn was a 20 seconds hack in an emergency Banana Republic situation :-)

Further more, I may argue that if beeing able to change the keymap in intial CPU/TERM state is vital, then the location is probably right but not the method.

Also to be considered, there exist much more different keyboards than Plan9 unsued keys...
