I downloaded the install disk a couple of weeks ago, and this is how far it gets: PBS...Plan 9 from Bell Labs ELCR: 0E00 using fd0!dos!plan9.ini the floppy stops spinning at that point, but the in use light stays on. I have checked the groups history on google for similar problems, but no help for something that hung up this early in the process. I tried changing my bios PnP settings on a friend's suggestion, but that did nothing. I tried turning debugging on on the boot disk, but it hangs before it could give any output. I tried 'dd'ing the install disk to the beginning of a partition, and editing to point to that partition, but either grub or the boot program for plan 9 didn't like that either. Any suggestions?
