I am interested in installing plan9 on this machine. I've done it
before, installing at work and bringing the hard drive back to this
computer, where it ran fine. However, when installing on this machine, it
will not let me install because i have an incompatible display setup. If it
runs fine, which it does, it should also install. Any real OS would have
provision for people who couldn't care less about the window manager.

So my question; how can I install without having to make use of rio?
