What I did say is that smart cards are NOT a perfect solution. That 'smart cards' is not a homogenous family of products which seems to be a significant issue with the proposal. It made over broad statements relating to security and smart cards. Any system you build is a physical system. If you don't see the connection then I can't help you, sorry.
