On a standalone Plan 9 terminal, I tried to updated the base distribution
of 3rd edition. I saw quite a bit of skipping of files during the process.
Do I have to use -F (force) option to make it work correctly? I wrap/inst
in the following sequence:

06/17 to 07/29 update
07/29 to 10/14 update
10/14 to 03/37 update
03/27 to 05/07 update
03/27 to 05/26 update
03/27 to 06/05 update

Is the order correct?
