I just booted a linuxbios/9load cpu server from a vmware auth/kfs/etc.
server.

Thanks Russ, for pointing out the obvious yesterday on why vmnet8 won't
work, don't know what I was thinking. Anyway went to host-only networking
and with a bit of finagling (including an arp -s on the linux side and a
'echo > /net/iproute' on the p9 side) all is well.

I'm going to bring this thing to usenix for those who have any interest.
It will be a small 4-node block of cpu servers plus a laptop frontend. I'm
hoping to move the front-end to a T21 soon.

Andrey, I had to change your code a bit to bring it up to rev with the
latest p9 stuff.

Thanks all for your patience. Now for some test clustering with ZPL and
Plan 9 ...
