(I'm up to the boot prompt ... just need to get the network driver going). You could build an audio server OS, and a bluetooth server OS, etc. and then connect them as servers. So no drivers in that sense. modload? no modload. When a new device is added, you fire up an OS to run it. Plan 9 has the ideal protocol to support this. Xen muxing of an OS is as efficient (almost) as OS muxing of processes. It's not vmware. Could be interesting ... ron
