But I still worry about the disconnected laptop case, because I take my laptop to many places where network access is just not possible, and then bring it out again. So my network access in the laptop case is available maybe 20% of my working day and will always remain so. Ah well, too little time to write this in a comprehensible way, I take your meaning and Russ's meaning and the meaning of the other good notes that got sent to me w.r.t. this issue. ron
