The following is all that I could find in trying to associate a chipset with (0xC0044="S3 86CM65 Video BIOS"). The associated chipset appears to be the Aurora64V+, which basically is a Trio64V+ core, which in turn is an enhanced Trio64 (www.faqs.org/faqs/pc-hardware-faq/video/chipsets/). There are two vgadb controller entries for the trio64, one with linear and one without. If you have already tried these then I am out of ideas (and out of my league). Louis
