And as much as my ability to complete a vga driver may be questionable, I would try to do my best to provide enough information so that 9fans will not be devoid of using IBM thinkpads in the future :) The current one I'm having has had its fair amount of falling off the table, cat chewing on the cable and munching chips while checking email, and the fact that its still surviving is speaking for itself.
