Subject: [9fans] Raspberry Pi 4 stability dependent in RAM
Date: Fri, 13 Nov 2020 19:30:22 -0500	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <a1896bd19559b491623b539f3b678e11@9srv.net> (raw)

I've got two Pi 4 with 1GB RAM and one with 4GB. All are running the
same firmware. Using the same SD card in both, based on the image
currently in contrib/miller, the Pi with 4GB behaves normally, while
those with 1GB reboots after a while, seemingly spontaneously, while
sitting idle. I don't have a serial console on the Pis and haven't
been able to otherwise capture a panic.

Also, perhaps related, in those with 1GB, I can't manage to get
display_rotate to work; if I set it, I get no video. I have tested
that with multiple displays.

Anyone have any relevant info?

Anthony
