OSDI BoF slots should be available Sunday night, Monday night, or Tuesday night. If anyone thinking about going has a preference, please email me and let me know. My preliminary plan for the meeting: o Quick 5 minute intro to what Plan 9 is o State of the system (quick 5 minute where the system is at today) o Talk about Plan 9 and Hypervisors (15 minutes) o Talk about Plan 9 tech-transfer to other operating systems (15 minutes) - cover plan9port package (or maybe Russ will do it for me) - cover v9fs linux support o Tell people about drawterm and tip9ug for people wanting a taste Then pending on who is in attendance, I'd like to have a 15-30 minute "community" discussion about the future. There's been a lot of discussion (at least on #plan9) about mirroring and encouraging community participation in Plan 9 projects. The idea would be to come up with: a) ways to help jmk out as much as possible with ongoing maintenance and development b) a setup allowing global mirrors of the distribution, source repository, wiki, etc Unfortunately, I don't have anything much new to demo at the BoF besides perhaps v9fs. We'll finish up our time slot with Q&A or perhaps just retire to the hotel bar. Anybody wanting anything added to the agenda, please let me know. -eric
