Let's remember that this (unbelievably lengthy) thread was started as a student's idea. I'm merely trying to debunk roadblocks which others seem to want to through in his way. As I am prevented from mentoring in GSoC, my opinion of whether this is a good or a bad project is immaterial -- let's just stop the FUD. -eric
