You could use the undocumented aux/disksim:

	aux/disksim
	echo geometry 32768 512 0 0 0 >/dev/sdXX/ctl

and then configure /dev/sdXX as you want, and then
copy /dev/sdXX/data once you're done.

I just fixed a bug and updated sources, so you need to
pull a new one.
