Subject: [9fans] 9atom with prototype devtrace for 386
Date: Mon, 9 Nov 2009 09:44:36 -0500	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <a8a628f91f1703e7822e237b7d273908@brasstown.quanstro.net> (raw)

i've updated 9atom to include tracing in the cd kernel
(so it can be easily tested) and in 9pcf if you'd like to
play with it. everything needed to rebuild the kernel
should be included. this is a departure from previous 9atoms
that modified no source. if this change is a problem,
please let me know why. i'm just trying to make rebuilding
the kernel easier.

if you wish to play with this on an installed system,
you will need the 8l and libc from the cd to rebuild a
kernel, as there is a required modification to 8l. libc
has had some tracing disabled.

absolutely no tools to help process devtrace output have
been included.
