So I just measured the two > quantities. :-) adding contrib packages to the BUGGERED list seems even easier. but seems wrong to me. in theory, the guy who owns the package should fix this, resulting in zero work for you. also, if everyone is putting in the same work to work around the same broken packages, i don't see how we're not wasting time, over all. - erik
