I last looked at this some months ago; I think I had to modify scat to not automatically try to mount the DSS from juke. I've since lost the change (but it should likely be redone and submitted). DSS is also freely available a plate at a time in various places. I briefly considered trying to work up something for dynamic download, but lost interest (I was only on scat on a tangetn, trying to get the 2e roads program working). --upas-ljiywsnhtanxlscamzsxhtyhin Content-Type: message/rfc822 Content-Disposition: inline Received: from gouda.swtch.com ([67.207.142.3]) by 9srv.net; Sun Apr 13 19:39:19 EDT 2008 Received: from localhost ([127.0.0.1] helo=gouda.swtch.com) by gouda.swtch.com with esmtp (Exim 4.67) (envelope-from <9fans-bounces@9fans.net>) id 1JlBms-00017a-SQ; Sun, 13 Apr 2008 23:39:06 +0000 Received: from mx.freeshell.org ([192.94.73.19] helo=sdf.lonestar.org ident=root) by gouda.swtch.com with esmtp (Exim 4.67) (envelope-from ) id 1JlBmr-00017V-FD for 9fans@9fans.net; Sun, 13 Apr 2008 23:39:05 +0000 Received: from sdf.lonestar.org (burningc@sdf.lonestar.org [192.94.73.1]) by sdf.lonestar.org (8.14.2/8.13.8) with ESMTP id m3DNd1aa010790 for <9fans@9fans.net>; Sun, 13 Apr 2008 23:39:01 GMT Received: (from burningc@localhost) by sdf.lonestar.org (8.14.2/8.12.8/Submit) id m3DNd1EB024526; Sun, 13 Apr 2008 23:39:01 GMT Date: Sun, 13 Apr 2008 23:39:01 +0000 (UTC) From: Glenn Becker To: Fans of the OS Plan 9 from Bell Labs <9fans@9fans.net> In-Reply-To: Message-ID: References: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII; format=flowed Subject: Re: [9fans] scat, ngc2000 and other matters X-BeenThere: 9fans@9fans.net X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.9 Precedence: list Reply-To: Fans of the OS Plan 9 from Bell Labs <9fans@9fans.net> List-Id: Fans of the OS Plan 9 from Bell Labs <9fans.9fans.net> List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , Sender: 9fans-bounces@9fans.net Errors-To: 9fans-bounces+a=9srv.net@9fans.net > The Digitized Sky Survey, 102 CD-ROMs, is not distributed with the > system. > > I had always assumed that was the reason.
