I am making a floppy too, so I followed your instructions (though I am
not using a fresh install...) and got:
term% mk ndisk

cd /sys/src/9/pc
mk 'CONF=pcflop' 9pcflop.gz
}
mk: don't know how to make '/sys/lib/dist/pc/root.bz2' in directory /sys/src/9/pc
mk: @{ cd ... : exit status=rc 2179: rc 2181: mk 2182: error
How do I get/generate root.bz2?
