I tried this, and failed. ☺
The error messages are as follows:
peridotite# Ctl-d
init: rc exit status: rc 106: false
init: can't check password; insecure
init: starting /bin/rc

Hmm... Once again I'm seeing the cpu server's prompt!, even if
I did not enter the right password!
