I was just cranky at the prospect of a long day of classes ;) The point of a mailing list isn't to see how few messages we can get in a month, although of course it's not a blog either. I've done more than my fair share of posting about fairly obvious stuff--at least you've beat a lot of us by not coming in and starting a flame war because something doesn't work exactly as it does under Unix (or, more puzzlingly, Windows). Maybe I should make a wiki page, "Things that are the same as in Unix", to offset our constant statement "Plan 9 is not Unix". John
