Damn. Condolences to his nearest & dearest.
My favourite jmk-ism was when he described C++ as "the flavour of the
weak" within a certain organisation.
Another random memory:
he re-used the V6 kernel initialisation code as clist blocks for the tty
driver to eke out the limited kernel address space on non-sep-I&D PDP-11s.
