Hello world,
p9f.org has two links for wikis. One [wiki] leads to a wiki hosted on p9f.org (net!p9f.org!wiki), the other [community] leads to the one hosted on 9p.io (net!9p.io!wiki). I haven't tried editing both yet, though I remember adding pages to the 9p.io one a few years ago. A few questions:
What's the plan with both wikis? They both seem to be related somehow, but they're still distinct.
9p.io is "older". Not the contents, but the page. It has more detailed information than the original plan 9 wiki, and it has index pages, which makes up for the lack of a search function, at least a bit.
p9f.org is newer, but more official, obviously. It has less content, it roughly looks pretty much like the original wiki that ships with plan 9.
Are there any plans to "merge" those wikis somehow? Are we allowed/supposed to edit the p9f.org wiki and add more pages, etc?
9p.io looks a bit unstructured in some cases, sometimes even unmoderated. Are there moderation plans for the p9f.org wiki?
I'd like to see a page/section with a collection of all bigger Plan 9 projects, for example a list including all the different versions of Plan 9, as a nice overview. Would that end up in the p9f wiki or should that better be placed in 9p.io? Would that even be welcome in such an official place such as p9f.org?
