i don't see how any of these would be useful
to me.  in particular, i especially do not want
a ruler or any ascii-graphical bits.  if i want a
typesetter, i'll use one.

if you are the type who wants a hammer with
an lcd temperature display, i would venture
that plan 9 tools are not for you.

this could be a useful addition.  it's an easy fix.

B2 "Font $fontname".  B2 means select with the
middle button.  for example,
	Font /lib/font/bit/cyberbit/mod14.font

this is a plan 9 "limitation".  although it is an
interesting philisophical question if a text
editor should get involved in such complications.

it seems to me that the zero-width combiners and
directional markers make unicode poor-man's
metafont masquerading as a character set.

then again, i'm a well-known luddite.
