Topicbox-Message-UUID: ad55814c-ead6-11e9-9d60-3106f5b1d025 Thanks for the help, especially the advice to look on the installation disk. (The Xcode pkg is something like 3.21 GB. When I started the download the estimated duration was 11+ hours, and over night grew to 4+ days, as the DSL bogged down.) The installation of p9p was pleasantly uneventful, thanks to some first class programming, mostly by Russ, I believe. So, thanks again. -Tom On Feb 8, 2011, at 7:41 PM, Russ Cox wrote: > On Tue, Feb 8, 2011 at 7:29 PM, Tom West wrote: >> It seems that the only way to get the compiler is to become a MAC >> Developer. > > Yes, you need to install Xcode, which you can download by > clicking on the "Mac Dev Center" link here: > http://developer.apple.com/technologies/xcode.html > As Lyndon said, it requires a (free) login. > > Alternately, Xcode may be in the Optional Installs > folder on your Snow Leopard installation DVD. > > Russ >
