I use plan 9 to play stuff from our /n/music using usb devices; not to talk that I used the ipaq as an mp3 player for a long time. These days we have touch screen support in Plan 9, among other things, to select alan parson's tracks to play :-) That's why I'm surprised to hear there's no audio support in plan 9.
