it probably got an i/o error (or thought it did, which is just as bad).
try using another diskette.   i suspect the driver isn't quite as good
at something as that for other systems because 9 seems to
have more trouble than some others.

After trying several different video cards, I finally managed to get thru a Plan 9 installation.
The problem now is that when I boot with the boot floppy I made, I get:

I am pretty much of a beginner at all this, so if anyone could point me in the
