I simply cannot get my middle mouse button
to work under VMware 3.1 using Windows 2000
as host OS on a Thinkpad T23. I've reproduced
this problem with FreeBSD and Linux guests too.
Unfortunately this is my only VMware setup, and
I'm having a hard time convincing VMware tech support
that I haven't simply misconfigured all three systems
to identical effect. That's where you come in.
If you booted Plan 9 under VMware either using
the installation or using the pre-configured
virtual disk, I'd appreciate hearing from you.
If you have a minute, please fill out this very
short form and mail it to rsc@plan9.bell-labs.com.
Host OS?
Desktop or Laptop?
If Laptop, model?
VMware version?
Installed fresh or used pre-configured disk?
Middle mouse button works?
(In rio, clicking the middle button should
bring up the cut/paste/snarf/... menu.)
Thanks.
Russ
