Do I have to go through an archive? > Thank you for your patience. that's a good question. if you just want to copy everything, i use the shell idiom disk/mkfs .... <{echo +} which is the same thing as echo +>/tmp/allproto disk/mkfs .... /tmp/allproto - erik
