I have attempted to use it for a fresh installation and with two different disk drives it reported (a) that it found no MBR and (b) an I/O error (error 68, in sector 0.446 or some such) when attempting to write the MBR. These were mid-capacity (4Gig and 8Gig, approximately) IDE drives previously installed with Windows 98 (I know that's not English, really, but I think it says what I want it to). I suspect 9pcflop, as my somewhat older 9pcdisk has no such difficulties. If anyone has installed off the floppy recently, please let me know so I'll look for a different source for my woes. ++L
