here's a link to a summary of the changes we've had to make in order
to get p9 going on hardware lacking any BIOS (or pc speakers for that
matter :)...

you'll find no code on the web, but if anyone is interested and has
hardware that linuxbios supports in one way or another we'd be happy
to give you the diffs.  as you can see from the site, there is not
much that has to be changed, but still, some problems (most notably
IRQs) need to be ironed out.
