okay, i'm a bit confused. is this a bug?

% cd /mnt/term/dev
% lc
authcheck cons cursor key snarf
authenticate consctl draw mouse sysname
authenticator cpunote hostowner null user
brahma% cd .. ; lc dev
bpf0 ptytc ttyqe
bpf1 ptytd ttyqf
bpf2 ptyte ttyr0
bpf3 ptytf ttyr1
console ptyu0 ttyr2
cu.Bluetooth-Modem ptyu1 ttyr3
cu.Bluetooth-PDA-Sync ptyu2 ttyr4
cu.modem ptyu3 ttyr5
disk0 ptyu4 ttyr6
disk0s1 ptyu5 ttyr7

[ a bunch more elided ]

ptyta ttyqc vn3
ptytb ttyqd zero
%

my drawterm is a bit old. maybe it's been fixed.

both are usefull in different cases; how can i explicitly
access one or the other?
