not only is the install 386 only (which, IIRC, has always been the
case for the install media, even back in 2e days), but unless i've
missed something big (which is quite possible; my free time level
has been on a sharp nose dive for the last few months), there is
no current sparc kernel.
the sources for the old stuff are available; if you wanted to make
one, i and others would be quite appreciative. :-)
