I once thought I had, but was wrong. I forgot that it was talking about the '020. That context thing. :) I kind of like the way that 8c allocates them. That means that I could dump &first to the &last and see the local stack frame. It struck me years ago that the stack frame was just an implied structure. Might be mentioned in the 8a section, though. --upas-uwrcvttjockvkwahnropdfpzwz Content-Type: message/rfc822 Content-Disposition: inline Received: from mail.cse.psu.edu ([130.203.4.6]) by coraid.com; Mon Mar 6 10:53:44 EST 2006 Received: from psuvax1.cse.psu.edu (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by mail.cse.psu.edu (CSE Mail Server) with ESMTP id C2F03AB79 for ; Mon, 6 Mar 2006 10:53:43 -0500 (EST) X-Original-To: 9fans@cse.psu.edu Delivered-To: 9fans@cse.psu.edu Received: from localhost (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by mail.cse.psu.edu (CSE Mail Server) with ESMTP id 0E774AAB7 for <9fans@cse.psu.edu>; Mon, 6 Mar 2006 10:53:26 -0500 (EST) Received: from mail.cse.psu.edu ([127.0.0.1]) by localhost (psuvax1 [127.0.0.1]) (amavisd-new, port 10024) with LMTP id 11474-01-7 for <9fans@cse.psu.edu>; Mon, 6 Mar 2006 10:53:25 -0500 (EST) Received: from holo.morphisms.net (holo.morphisms.net [66.93.84.55]) by mail.cse.psu.edu (CSE Mail Server) with ESMTP id 353AAAAAF for <9fans@cse.psu.edu>; Mon, 6 Mar 2006 10:53:25 -0500 (EST) Received: by holo.morphisms.net (Postfix, from userid 124) id CE5D11E8C56; Mon, 6 Mar 2006 10:52:26 -0500 (EST) Received: from x40.swtch.com (foobar@c-65-96-190-220.hsd1.ma.comcast.net [65.96.190.220]) by holo.morphisms.net with SMTP; Mon, 06 Mar 2006 10:52:25 -0500 (EST) (envelope-from rsc@swtch.com) X-Avenger: version=0.7.4; receiver=holo.morphisms.net; client-ip=65.96.190.220; client-port=54550; syn-fingerprint=5840:47:1:60:M1460,S,T,N,W2 Linux 2.4/2.6; data-bytes=0 Message-ID: To: 9fans@cse.psu.edu Subject: Re: [9fans] bug in asm.ps From: "Russ Cox" Date: Mon, 6 Mar 2006 10:53:55 -0500 In-Reply-To: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Virus-Scanned: by amavisd-new at cse.psu.edu X-BeenThere: 9fans@cse.psu.edu X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list Reply-To: Fans of the OS Plan 9 from Bell Labs <9fans@cse.psu.edu> List-Id: Fans of the OS Plan 9 from Bell Labs <9fans.cse.psu.edu> List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , Sender: 9fans-bounces+brantley=coraid.com@cse.psu.edu Errors-To: 9fans-bounces+brantley=coraid.com@cse.psu.edu > Oh, I understand now.
