Did Partition Magic actually say that these values were wrong?
The cylinder number was 1023 because that's the largest one
you can write. It is the "large drive placeholder" which
really means "there's no C/H/S-expressible address; use the
LBA". Unless they have found somewhere to put two more bits
of C. Sigh. I wish this were documented _somewhere_.
