Can I change the footer to read =E2=80=9CCMD(1)=E2=80=9D as in the header= rather than the now meaningless =E2=80=9CPage 1=E2=80=9D? There=E2=80=99s a line: .ifn .tl =07Page %=07\\*(]D=07\\*(]W=07 that looks like the one to change, but to what? Or should the footer be eliminated entirely and the printing date moved to the header? (When I next get bored, I=E2=80=99ll try to make man adjust the page widt= h to the window width the way mc does =E2=98=BA.) --Joel
