It still requires IL. I would like to make it use TCP,
at least as an option, but that's a bigger project.
(I think it requires lifting up the `upper layers' of
the fs kernel and dropping them onto a cpu kernel.)
I wanted to get my work to date out to the rest of you
in its current condition, since progress has been slow
since November.
