Subject: [9fans] VIA DMA support
Date: Wed, 7 Jun 2006 15:52:52 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <ea3e9f00606070652w6429ca82ydd2a6b47c4ec6505@mail.gmail.com> (raw)
In the wiki[1] it states that "VIA 82C686, VT8237 SATA/RAID" are supported.
>From the patches[2] to the linux kernel it seems that the DMA drivers
for the VT8237 should be compatible with the VT8235 and even with the
VT8231. This would make it compatible with almost every EPIA[3] board
in the market.
Anyone with epia boards could confirm this? If it is like this, the
Wiki could be updated.
Thanks and sorry if this message duplicates a past conversation, I did
my best searching the mailing list archives.
