There was some sort of power problem, perhaps due to a thunderstorm, around 0430 EDT Saturday, and despite our UPSes, the Raidweb array holding the venti arenas for edith, our main file server, refuses to come up. Jim is just back from Austin and I expect that we'll get the systems back up on Sunday. I'm currently fetching data from our old file servers and storing it into a new venti/fossil server. The plan is to replace most of our aging Plan 9 machines. So our systems should become more reliable before too long.
