I have a 1,2, and a 2.5. prism intersil based pcmcia cards with a
Think pad T20
boot shows #Y0 and #Y1. Can someine
point me in the right direction ?
I have no pcmcia /dev references,
aux/pcmcia gives me a "no such device
error."
I`m sure it`s pilot error on my part.

if they're really pcmcia and not pccard, then you
could try pccard0=disabled in plan9.ini and then
you'll get the real pcmcia driver, which lets you read
the card memory. for some reason the card memory
isn't accessible via devpccard.

then you can run aux/pcmcia '#y/pcm0attr' and '#y/pcm1attr'
and get a card name. at that point you should be able to edit
the list in /sys/src/9/pc/wavelan.c and build a new kernel
(or set ether0=type=wavelan id=somestring in plan9.ini
and use an old kernel).
