If you know anything about the vga i81x driver,
please email me. I'm confused about what it's
trying to do with the memory for the frame buffer,
so as a result the new vesa kernels don't support it
(the frame buffer interface changed and all the
native drivers got reworked).
If you use the vga i81x driver, email me too.
Thanks to those who have been sending vesa reports.
I'd love to get more. Right now it sounds like there are
3dfx
clgd542x
mach64xx
nvidia
s3 savage
that are working, but I don't know about the
ark2000pv
clgd546x
ct65545
cyber938x
et4000
hiqvideo
mga2164w
mga4xx
neomagic
s3 non-savage
t2r4
When you test please be sure to try both vesa and non-vesa,
since both have changed.
Thanks.
Russ
