i read the article. it seems very accuate. however, i had one question: are these assertions of deficiency founded?

dispite these excellent concepts, plan 9 isn't perfect. rio windows often scroll incorrectly and do not show the relevant text.
acme displays these deficiencies less. the whole system is built on a graphical user interface and many functions are not available
in text mode, e.g. interrupting processes with the [del]-key.

one man's incorrect is another man's correct.
i suspect he doesn't like the noscroll default behavior.

it's true -- if you're running at the console, DEL doesn't
interrupt processes.
